Outstanding work of Cuban anesthetist

Paramaribo. March 12, 2009. Doctor Alexis Hernandez Sanchez, specialist in Anesthesiology, who is working at‘s Lands Hospital in Paramaribo since April 2007, has gained with his work the recognition and the respect of the health authorities of the hospital.

Alexis, who is from Havana City, works in Cuba at the Mario Muñoz Policlinic in the municipality of Habana del Este.
In the almost two years of his stay in Suriname he has anesthetized 4,108 patients and checked 1,500 patients in pre-operative consultations, at‘s Lands Hospital.

Doctor Hernandez has very good relations with the personnel of the hospital and with the authorities. He has a high scientific level.

Dr. Hernandez Sanchez is a member of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Suriname.
Cuba offers to Suriname health cooperation with a medical brigade of 16 specialists and with a team of 10 specialists, who are working in the Milagro project, also at the‘s Lands Hospital.
